Great Quote

I watched the movie Coach Carter this past weekend, GREAT movie I HIGHLY reccommend it!  This is a quote from that movie, it just hit me for some reason. I've never thought about having a fear of success, however, I definitely saw areas where I've shrunk back in fear thinking that this was "humility". That is a false sense of humility.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." Marianne Williamson

Testimony Time!!

PRAISE JESUS!!!

Last night as I was getting ready to head to bed I started thinking about the missions trip to Israel. I felt like it just hit me for the first time, "How is this actually going to work out?" I need a LARGE sum of money in 4 days...for the first time the fear of not being able to go actually set in. I started to feel this reality, but I chose not to let it get me down.  I knew God heard my heart in that moment and He reminded me He is Jehova Jireh, my provider.  I was completely okay with whatever happened and let it go.

This morning I came into work, checked my email and saw that someone posted an anonymous payment of the EXACT amount needed, $1,495.00!!! We've learned at school that our words create worlds and testimonies literally release mercy to do it again, so anyone in need of breakthrough reading this, Lord just give them their breakthrough!

Your Love Language
Words of Affirmation
Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important—hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten.

Hey Friends!

Any amount is GREATLY appreciated NO MATTER how large or small!

A New Adventure

Last Saturday I  got a chance to go rock climbing with some friends. There are some good climbing rocks near Burney Falls in the mountains. It was my first time EVER climbing any kind of rock! I was SUPER excited and to be honest, I thought it was going to be fun and easy.

As I got strapped in and stood at the base of the rock, I  literally had no clue what to do. I started to try to climb, but it felt so weird and unnatural, as if I were going to fall off. I literally couldn't do it. I went to go watch some other peeps to see how they did it, once I saw how it could be done I took off! Like Spiderlady! We climbed both sides of the rock, each about mid-level climbs, and about 50ft. high.  It was the best feeling in the world to climb the face of a rock, and not fall! I hit the top on both sides, then was reeled back down. I can see why people love rock climbing, there are SO many spiritual parallels you can draw from it. There were so many instances where I could've let fear overtake me, my legs even began shaking uncontrollably, however, with the encouragement of the people belaying I was able to find the strength to push through, grab on to the tiniest piece of rock and pull higher and higher! Once you hit the top its a beautiful view over the tops of trees!

My friend Wendee took me and sent some pics, heres what it looked like! SUPER FUN I CANNOT WAIT TO GO AGAIN!
